Gen 2 3s-gte Toyota Turbo sensors

I'm a bit of a newby so be gentle.
I bougt a MS1 V2.2 to control my fuel better than the stock ecu of my type 1 Toyota MR2 Turbo.
When i raise the turbo-pressure the stock ecu overfueles my engine.
Just to be sure; I disconnect the wires from the stock ecu to the injectors and connect them to the
MS1. I make sure all needed sensors and wiring, like rpm and ignition are in place. And with a basic setting the car will run?
Are there shared sensors? Which of the sensors are needed bij both stock ecu and MS? For instance do I need a water-temp sensor for both? Can I split
the signal or do I need two sensors?
What will my stock ecu do with the disconected injectors in regard to timing?
Does my car need the tranny speed signal?
Jeroen.
