Hi! how does it really work? Is it over dwell protection on ignition or injectors?Currently I'm running on 2.687 but I kinda like this feature. Please help to elaborate.

Thanks!

When dwell is turned on, a timer is activated that is independent of the normal logic for turning off dwell (that is for sparking). This is much less precise than the normal spark logic, but it should hopefully never have to be used. If this independent timer exceeds 20 ms it turns off dwell to keep the coils from burning up.
