EDIS question on dwell times

Post by panel »

Note that you can not set dwell times with EDIS, the EDIS module does all the dwell control internally.
I got this from the manual and I was wondering where this setting was. I just want to make sure I don't have anything in the box.

Is it in this pic?

Within the EDIS setup manual in the MEgamanual it describes the settings for dwell times. I remember it being something like 5 M/s or 50% or something for Fixed dwell. I dont think you have to fiddle with that stuff;

Panel,

The dwell settings do not apply if you have selected EDIS. The dwell is set by the EDIS module, and the length of the SAW signal sent by MS-II sets the advance. It is definitely NOT fixed dwell, etc. There's more here: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/EDIS.htm and here: http://www.megamanual.com/mt28.htm#ib
