IAT reading constant 70*F??

Hey,

I am running megaquirt V3.0, with 2.8891 code controlling spark and fuel..

I got it all put on and everything started up fine with all sensors reading good. Then after a day, my IAT sensor stopped responding and just reads a constant 70*F. Everything else works fine. I am running the coolant sensor and IAT in parallel with the stock ecu so I removed both R4 and R7. The VW that I put this on doesn't have an IAT so would it be possible that I fried something on megasquirt by removing megasquirts bias resistor? Also, I hooked megasquirt back up to the stim and the same thing happened so I'm pretty sure the sensor is still working fine. I am using the standard GM sensor. I also pulled the schematics for that circuit and I believe all of the continuity checks out. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Bryce

So quick update.. the stim board doesn't work because I took the bias resistors out.... yeah.. Also it seems like the IAT is tracking the input of the CLT when the car is running.. Why would this be if I took the two bias resistors out?

Problem solved!! I just didn't quite understand the parallel instruction guide and in fact you only have to take out the bias resistor for the sensor you are sharing.. Seems pretty obvious now but thats 20/20 hindsight eh..

Happy Squirting!
