Ms-ll piggy back install into a nissan sentra 93?

Post by xiholdtruex »

i am not new to megasquirt overall but i am new to installing and using it i have decided i want to install megasquirt to to tune my fuel and timing on my 93 nissan sentra with a auto transmission in it so i would like to piggy back it into my system.i would like to be as prepared as possible before i go about buying and installing it into my car.My main question is what sensors or wires would i need to wire my mega squirt 2 system into and would i need to add any new sensors to get it working correctly, and would i just hijack the cables going into the ecu and wire into them for the install?I have read the manual but was a little confused on what i needed to tap into to make it work correctly.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice

We generally call these a "parallel installation" to avoid confusion with devices like the Super AFC that modify the signals to and from the stock ECU. There's an article on our site with some tips here:
