Lost, frustrated, and Confused

Morning, Have MS-II, V3.0 Board, running the 2.905 code. I am not getting any Tach Signal or RPM displayed and that means no injector pulses. I get spark at the plugs that looks like it is timed correctly, the stock tach inside the car is moving while cranking, just not getting the tach signal to the megasquirt. I have checked and rechecked the wiring, updated the code in the controller, taken it apart, put it back together, cleaned the board, checked the continuity of all the wires and cables, just cant find out or figure out what the problem is. Can you spare a guy some advise?? Attached are the MSQ and the Last datalog, for what its worth!! thanks in advance...

Does it work on a stim? You might want to check the tips here:

hed simmilar problem with my HEI ignition module, making this circuit with relay solved the problem:

Thanks for the reply Lance. Went thru and read the entire trouble section , then re-read it just to make sure it didn't miss anything. Everything checks out. GOing to start from scratch the following weekend. Car is stuck in another state so I can only get there every other weekend. Don't have a stim (yet) but one will be here Friday, so I'll report back as to what I find once it is hooked to it. I brought the MS II and relay box back with me for testing/troubleshooting. I did a search on the forums and found where a severely screwed MSQ could cause this type of problem.. OR not having the Ignition wired per the diagram. I'm pretty sure its wired the way it was before when the system worked in another car, (3 years ago) but Ive slept at least once or twice since then!!!

Thanks! IF the MSII checks out when I get the Stim on Friday, then this is what I'm going to have to try. Appreciate the input. Will let everyone know if that solves the problem. Would it be any different with the 8 pin module vs. a 7? I dont think so cause all they added was the ground wire right?? Thanks again!!

OK, got the Jimstim in the mail box tonight, soldered it all together, tested everything works fine on the MS EXCEPT the RPM, ignition advance and the O2. I know why the O2 dont work, but the rest has got me once again puzzled. The IGN led on the jimstim blinks when i turn the course RPM down all the way down and play with the fine RPM, i can see the led blink however no leds on the MS or the rpm gage in tuner studio is working. I have checked the continuity all the way to U3. After that I'm test equipment limited here at home. Have a dual channel scope at work but CEO has issues about removing $4000 test equipment from the plant . Go figure! Thanks again for any assistance.

It started once time after I installed the HEI relay. ran for about 15 seconds ans hasn't started since in 10 tries. Bat is dead so I'm charginf it. Attached is a the Starting log and the MSQ. Can someone Please check them to see if what I'm missing that is blatently obvious?

It really wants to start. It tries soo hard just wont hang on. I know its something simple.. alot like me
