ECU Issues

My car has been running fine and when I went to restart the engine the fuel pump and injectors were running all the time the power is on. This same thing is happening when using the stim to power the ECU. Also, none of the pots on the stim are working while using TS. I have MS2, v3, 2.886. This has never happend before.

RB,
I would start with the troubleshooting steps here:

I have gone over all of the V3 trouble shooting and I don't see anything about the RPM and Injectors running all the time. I have washed all of the componets on both the ECU and the stim with alcohol and dried everything with no change. This ECU has been running fine for about 3 years and just changed after I had it running and then went to start it again about 5 min. later. Very strange! I was trying to get the new bluetooth working when all this happened. Using the serial cable, it connects fine and seems to send info back and forth, except for the stim pots. It seems like I need a PRO to look at the thing?

Also, the ECU runs the pump and injectors all the time with it in the car or on the stim without the laptop connected.

RB,
The injectors MUST be wired so that they have no power when the main relay (that supplies power to MegaSquirt) is off. That's because the drivers can be left in an 'ON' state when MegaSquirt is powered down.
If the MegaSquirt isn't getting power properly (if D19 is fried, for example) to power on, then the injectors could be powered even though the controller is not working.
However, if the serial comms are working (which you didn't mention earlier), then the processor is working. I suspect the attempted bluetooth connection has scrambled the code and/or settings. If this was mine, I would reload the code, and the MSQ (if it is 'known good'). Then I would do my bluetooth setup on a stim, not in the car, until it has proven to work consistently well.
Lance.
