I have a 94 Mustang Gt I will be putting a 70 MM turbo on, should not see any more than 10 Pounds for a long time. It has 42# injectors and the standard H/C/I. I am looking to swap my computer and diablo chip out for a megasquirt system. I have many friends running MS2 and MS3X, and I am wondering what would be a good choice for me to run. I will doing the basic tuning with the help of some friends and I am not looking for anything crazy.
I was looking into the MS2 and also the MSPNP for my car. I wasnt very fond of paying the 800+ for the PNP. Any suggestions of what I should get?

I would like it to be as little rewiring as possible but I would not be totally against it.
Thanks

There's a lot of different options for a 5.0; we cover most of them here:

Any specific features you need?

I talked with someone at DIY they were extremely helpful in answering all my questions. I do not believe there are any specific features I would be looking for. It wont be an all out drag car and I do not feel as if I need individual bank tuning. I have a PLX wideband on the car currently and want to tune it myself. The PNP looks nice but the price sure is up there. What would you recommend?

Are you looking for build it yourself or ready to run? Wire in or plug and play?

I am not really wanting to build it myself. If I had to I could but I really dont have the time to sit and do it. I was looking at the difference in MS2 and MS3X and I realize that MS3X can do alot more stuff but I dont feel as if I would ever utilize what it can do with my car. Its not going to be a straight drag car it will be a daily driver in the summer time. I just want to make sure the fans will still work fine and I can run the A/C.

I saw the plug n play but it is a pretty penny, and was also looking at the other MS2 that is a wire in that was $200+ cheaper.

Still just cant decide on what to get.

I think this might be your best bet if the MSPNP gives you sticker shock:

Plug n play units use are obviously more expensive to make since they are individual. A basic MS benefits from economy of scale. But requires a custom loom. So you either DIY to save money (and because it's fun) or you pay for the work to be done.
If you really are short of time I'd go down the P&P route and get it pro tuned too. MS otherwise will frustrate if you've no time to spend on learning it.

This is the one I was looking at. I saw the PNP has a large map sensor but i will only be seeing 10# tops so I am not to worried about that. I am currently pulling the motor and reworking it and working 60+ hours a week just leaves little time after taking care of the family first and for most.

Is there any real difference tuning wise between the 2 options?
Thanks for the help!
