Hello. I have read all the manuals but i cant understand two things about O2 sensor and vr sensor. First about O2. In some diagrams I see o2 sensors with four wires (
http://www.DIYAutoTune.com/images/mshar ... wiring.png ) and some others with tree wires (
http://invisiblesun.org/blog/wp-content ... wiring.jpg. ) I have o2 sensor with three wires (two white and one black ). Also when I read diagrams with edis ( i will use edis4) (
http://invisiblesun.org/blog/wp-content ... wiring.jpg ) I see only one VR sensor which goes to edis. When i use edis i need only one vr sensor ? Then how does my injectors work? See (
http://www.DIYAutoTune.com/images/mshar ... wiring.png ) i have vr sensor directly fit to the ecu in this diagram. Sorry for all them questions. If there is any manual which answers to my question please tell me. Jim

The EDIS receives the VR signal, processes it and sends a square-wave RPM signal to the MS (PIP); the MS sends an RPM-based spark timing correction signal to the EDIS (SAW); the EDIS fires the coils and the MS fires the injectors. There are only 2 wires going between the EDIS and MS, PIP and SAW; beyond that, each is self-contained. Take a look at
the MegaManual page.
Narrow-band O2 sensors can be 1, 2, 3, or 4-wire, and each must be wired according to its own requirements. Wide-band sensors are 6-wire, and must be connected to a controller; WBO2 sensors cannot be wired directly to the MS.

I read this.
http://msextra.com/doc/general/tachin-v30.html#vrlogic And it says :
V3.0 board - VR Input for logic input e.g. TFI, EDIS, GMDIS, LS1/24X, modules
a) Solder a link between VRIN and TACHSELECT
b) Solder a wire between VrOUT and TSEL
c)
With a small screwdriver, turn the pots, R52 and R56, about 12 turns anticlockwise (sometimes you may feel a "click" when the end position is reached, they can't be damaged by turning too far.)
d) Turn R56 back about 6 turns clockwise.
What does he mean turn the pots ? R52 and R56 are resistors :/ Am i right? OR they are " special " resistors? Thienks. jim

Potentiometers (POTS) are
variable resistors.
