Re: FORD EDIS RPM READING ABOUT HALF OF ACTUAL

Update. I downloaded and installed v2.920 and tuner studios ( big thumbs up so far). So far my rpms are looking good after the update. Must have been a glitch in the older version.

Re: FORD EDIS RPM READING ABOUT HALF OF ACTUAL

Hey Ken. Thanks for the reply. I know the stuff is dated. I pulled it years ago then recently decided to put fuel injection back on. Already had mega tune and my ini files Etc ready to go. That being said tonight I will be installing tuner studios and 3.3.3? tonight. The low cranking rpm was an ...

Re: FORD EDIS RPM READING ABOUT HALF OF ACTUAL

Maybe I should clarify. The motor runs ok. Idles ok at approx 850-900 rpm but in mega tune it shows me idling at 350-400. And the injectors on my tbi are high impedance.

FORD EDIS RPM READING ABOUT HALF OF ACTUAL

Did a EDIS conversion and everything worked great. I then switched from a MPI to a TBI setup and now my rpm's are about half of actual. i cant figured out what it could be. The only changes I made were to the fuel settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gamma E driving me crazy..

How do you disable the gamma E as it relates to the IAT temps? it seems everytime it gets hot (IAT) the gamma e pulls fuel...up to 85% which causes a very very lean condition (afr 18:1). i have it currently setup to run with no O2 corrections so when the gamma e pulls out fuel it is un drivable. i ...

i just swapped out the junkyard ignition module with the new ebay distributor ign module thinking...hoping it was a bad module but it is still doing the same thing with both ignition modules. :(

losing 12 deg of timing every other second at idle

MS II 3.0 2.905

i finally got my motor fired up with a junkyard distributor. it had a rough idle so i data logged it and for some reason the timing is jumping erratically back and forth from 15.8 to 3.8 When i watch the timing table its rock steady in between 2 cells. both cells and all the ...

Re: no tach signal gm 8 pin

well...problem solved i guess. it looks like the ebay special aftermarket distributor was inferior to the stock junkyard distributor. i just installed the junkyard distributor with the hall effect GM set described in step 50 in the assembly guide. now i have a good clean tach signal. best 40 bucks ...

no tach signal gm 8 pin

ok... MS2 v3.0 board NOW RUNNING v2.905

I used this ECU with v2.885 to control fuel only on a ford straight 6. it often had a noisy tach signal so i used a diode inline to quiet it down which worked. i have since pulled the ford straight 6 and dropped in a chevy v6 turbo charged with TBI injectors ...

Re: Stupid VRef GM 8pin question

I have 5v on my Vref wire all the time. My cranking rpm is the same everytime though. I havent had any issues as of late with it being done this way. I pull my 5v from my tps sensor. I use 10* in the top 2 cells in the 1st row on the timing table.
