Nissan SR20DE

Post by hendersoned »

I want to put a SR20DE JDM motor in my dune buggy, non smog car. I have searched the site and have not found much info for a SR20de (NON-Turno). How complicated do you guys tink this would be and is the MS2.0 enough as I don't believe I need full ignition control as it has a distributor and I will use it. Thanks Ed

Distributor based SR20s work in very much the same way as our writeup for the 240SX:

It's the distributorless ones that are more complicated.

yes, be thankful you have the distributor based one. i helped a friend get his running on a DET and it was a pain with the coil on plug setup.
