maf tuning

Why was the maf calibration correction table designed to designate x axis variable using grams a second instead of ADC or maf volts?
Trying to fix something that you need to fix doesn't work well.

I don't know if you changed this in latter ms2 b&g code versions but I'm interested in what was the logic behind this.
