datalog afr wrong

Post by mcobb »

I have ms2,v3 running b&g v2.678 code
Ever since my new windows 7 computer (several months) my datalogs show afr range of 10.2- 10.6 which is not right should be 11-17.
When tuning in megatune the afr shows a few points lower than the dynojet wideband commander gauge.
When I try to look at datalogs I just get 10.2-10.6
I have selected "dynojet" on the megatune and the megalog veiwer
also my boost shows kPa like #s, only where map shows say 200, boost shows 170 ??
I tried two different downloads of mlv, both show same issues, both are registered.
any help appreciated

Are you sure it is set to log afr instead of O2?
if yor log files have O2 in them it is set to narrowband in the project configuration.

If you are still using megatune, you will need to run the configurator and change it to any wideband on 2.67

If you are using TunerStudio, go into project properties and click on the settings tab. There will be a selection for ego sensor, select other wideband.

The your data logs will have afr in them with the same values you see whil connected.

For the psi, in mlv there is a calculated optional field for boost vacuum, turn that off, then back on. Make sure the values for map while engine off is set to something around 100 or what your map sensor typically reads while the engine is off

Thanks Phil,
I almost forgot how to set/ unset, that fixed afr.
Unchecking boost fixed that problem too.
You are my hero!
thanks again,
Marc
