EGO tune issue

Post by smokey212 »

Hey folks. I finally got my project up and running decent but I have a few bugs to work out yet. I'm using the autotune feature in tunerstudio to help with the tune and I have the EGO correction at 0% authority while tuning. After getting a decent tune I gave the EGO 20% percent authority and the truck started surging while at any throttle position. When I say surging it isn't terrible but you can feel the truck lunging slightly. I did two data logs one with and one without the EGO active. You can clearly see the graph oscillating up and down. If any of you have any idea or had an issue with this in the past please feel free to chime in. Below are my specs and msg along with the datalogs.

MS2 w/ 2.905
!998 Toyota pickup w/Ford 302V8
!992 GM throttle body injection

Looks like the VE table needs a little more fine tuning to make it hit the AFR targets.
