CNG Engine Tuning

Post by 2013T »

I have a megasquirt I with a V3.0 main board. I am trying the tune a CNG engine and have been looking for a base 12×12 volumetric efficiency (VE) table, the 12×12 air/fuel ratio (AFR) table, and the 12×12 spark advance table. Does anyone know where I could find such tables as a base reference for CNG? Or would anyone know how I could create these table from scratch?

Thanks,
Sam

Those are extremely open ended questions. Usually I would recommend aiming for similar lambda numbers to a gasoline engine on the AFR table, but the VE and spark tables will need to be dialed in on a dyno, just like with a gasoline engine.
