Innovate LC-1 Ground Wires

Post by Lambo »

The manner in which the white and the blue wires are grounded appears to be pretty finicky and touchy to feedback. I have a 12 awg wire coming back from the battery to MS2 for my main ground. The relay box is inside the cab, and I was tempted to just tie all of the wires to this one ground feed near where it comes into the relay box, but it seems it is important for these to run their own wire.

Does this mean I should run individual wires back to the battery as well for both the white and the blue wires on the LC-1?

Connect the LC-1's ground wires both to the engine block or cylinder head.

Even if MS is grounded at the battery? Or should I perhaps ground it at the cylinder head as well? That would save me from running another 4 feet of wire to the battery... for some reason I had it in my head that grounding to the battery was optimal.

When in doubt, ground the MS to the head. All the various sensors - IAT, CLT, etc - should ground at the MS.

Okay, bring the innovate grounds and the MS back to the head... that simplifies a few things for me anyway. Thanks for the info gents.
