Re: Vr pots
They have a type of ratchet clutch, so won't be damaged by carrying on winding at the limit of their travel. Most these days don't seem to click - they once did, though.Ali wrote:Not sure if iv got the right sub forum for this question but, I'm trying to adjust the pots on my ms2 v3 and taking it back to basics and following the instructions turning then all the way anti clock till they click when they hit there limit, I have tried and tried and don't hear or feel even the slightest of click ? I'm thinking no big deal the amount of times I have turned them they must be at there limit. I only hole iv not damaged them? They probably seen about 20 turns each.
Thanks
You could use a DVM set to resistance and measure between the centre and one end pin to find the limit. Just stop twiddling when the reading stops changing.
