EDIS and Crank Sensor

Post by luxmoggy »

Hello,
I will be using EDIS with Megasquirt. At the moment I am looking for ways to mount the crank sensor.
One place has a bracket for my Jag XK engine, but it is for a different sensor. Can I use any VR sensor or do I need to use the one that come from Ford?
Thanks
Iain

I'm using a generic one with EDIS - came from Trigger Wheels in the UK who also made the bracket and wheel for my Rover engine. The original EDIS one I got with the EDIS 8 kit of used bits I bought wouldn't fit the ready made bracket.

Thanks for that. It is one bracket for me to buy. If I can't build my own one.
