Hello! MS questions 2.3L W201

Post by E=MC^2 »

Hello there, I am looking to MS my 1985 Mercedes 190e 2.3L 8valve. It's been modified with a TD04E. I currently have a ford EDIS4 setup with 36-1 trigger wheel and VR. I have a shopping list of what I think I need. If you have experience and are willing to teach me "how to fish" I am willing to put in the time to assemble this beast.

Your list looks pretty good with one exception...... I am not a fan of the Relay Board. It is my experience/opinion (been there, done that) that the Relay Board does not offer the versatility/flexibility that some users require. I have done both, and been more successful by ditching the Relay Board entirely (for various reasons). If you research both here and the Extra forum you will find any number of users of the same opinion/experience.

Understand...... The foregoing is merely the opinion of just one demented old fart and certainly should not be taken as gospel!!!

Otherwise....... Welcome to the (sometimes) hair pulling/ teeth gnashing world of MegaSquirt! :D You will find any number of folks here who are willing to teach you "how to fish"!
