Using Megasquirt in parallel with factory ECM

Post by Z06Luke »

Some years ago I built a MS3 for a project that I no longer own. Fast forward to now I have a 2004 Z06 that needs to be tuned, and a megasquirt that's sitting on the shelf collecting dust. If it's feasible to go this route it will need to be in parallel so that I can maintain OBDII functionality.

I know that some applications can be controlled in parallel, but I can find no documentation regarding anyone doing so with the LS series of engines. What are the determining factors regarding whether or not an application can be controlled in parallel with a megasquirt?
