Proto area for a newb

Post by quiksilverly »

I have everything assembled but I have no idea how to use the proto area for the pull up circuit required to run my VR tach on the a mazda fsze engine. I have the v3 board (blue). I have been quite pleased with the instructions so far on board assembly but the instructions from forums related to my engine have failed to dumb it down to my level when it comes to use of the proto area hence rendering the pull up circuit info useless to me.

Can someone explain how this area works so I can solder it up an move on?

The proto area is just a set of holes you can solder the parts to. The individual holes do not connect to each other on their own.
