Did I burn my MegaSquirt?
My MegaSquirt:
board: V3.57M SMD,
daughter board: like this one: https://www.DIYAutoTune.com/product/cpu ... hterboard/
So my problem is as fallow: when I tried to set the tach signal by checking the signal going to the processor on pin 1, I decided to solder some wire on that pin 1, becuse i did not want to hold probe in my hand (I don't have anyone to help me with that). Unfortunately by my mistake I soldered pin 1 with pin 2. After some time i managed to seperate those pin (that I was thinking) and started the engine, but my tach signal was completely lost. Before that my tach signal was pretty strong, now is always 0. When I check the pin 1 and 2 there is a short circuit. And now I don't know if those pins are still soldered together or there is short in the cpu. I even tried to cut the tin between pins with knife to make sure pins are seperated and I'm almost sure that something is wrong inside the cpu. Is there any solution to repair this? If those pins are still soldered together and I seperate them (maybe by desoldering whole chip), I will get back my tach signal, or the chip is burned and I have to change daughter board?
thanks for any help.
