Which board for 01 1.8l toyota engine?
Now back into playing with cars again after over a decade of absence the options available are overwhelming.
Which would be the cheapest assembled board to use on my 99 Corolla that I just installed a 01 vvt engine into.
i would like an ecu and long enough pig tails to wire all the sensors up myself.
Microsquirt work? Which version?
This engine has coil on plug that I could batch fire with wasted spark.
Thanks.

A MicroSquirt can run the engine if not using VVTi though.

It may be simpler to find a good used OEM engine loom for your engine and modify to that to an MS connector. The DB37 as used on the full sized MS is a very cheap to buy connector as it is made by the millions for other uses too. You can get solder or crimp versions of the D series connectors. But do follow the MS external wiring diagram no matter which method you choose.
