wideband O2 sensor recommendation

Post by jagdude »

Hi,
Can someone recommend a cheap wideband sensor to use with MSII? So far the only numbers I've seen are around $200. I have seen one reference to a JAW (Just Another WideBand) and a VW part 17014 from Advance auto Parts. What are these? Is the VW sensor a wide band or a narrow band?

In case it's not obvious I'm trying to figure out what parts etc. will cost to implement a MSII install.

Thanks,

The Bosh WB sensor is about $50 or so from AutoZone, and the like. The controller is the sticky part. I think the JAW is a good deal, if you can get one. I don't have one myself, but most users were happy. there were some delivery issues as of late, so you may want to check availability. Price for the DIY kit is nice though, I think it was about $45 for the controller, and $35 for the display. Don't quote me on the prices, but it should give you a ballpark estimate.
