How to know the correct InjOpen Time ?

I start my engine with the advocated value (1.0ms) but Idle speed is smoother with 3ms.

How can I determine the "correct" value ? Measure ? Calculation ?

Unless you are running LPG injectors, 3 ms is likely too long - I'm guessing the idle smoothed out because you weren't adding enough fuel earlier. Set the opening time to 1 ms and adjust the idle with the VE table. Then change the number of squirts and see what happens to your AFR. If it goes richer, decrease the opening time; if it goes leaner, increase it.

Thx U Matt.

No I run pump gas Injector (from VW mexican beetle).
I think that my NB send bad value or may be not function correctly because I read on MT 0.45/0.5v on EGO meter but the exhaust gas mixture feel rich.

I beleive he thinks to increase from 1 to ....
4 squirts being for smoother idling.

Should have cleared that up - I meant increase the number of squirts. If you decrease them the AFR will go the other way.
