I've been trying to find information on what's needed to and if its possible to install the megasquirt on my car (1978 Datsun 280z ). I can't seem to find much information. What are my choices and whats needed, what mods are made? I can do it myself, I can solder, I am very mechanical. What would be the best options for me? Prices would help also. Thanks

There are a lot of squirted Z cars running around. I take it you have the non turbo motor? Fuel only is pretty straightforward on these, following the generic directions. The most popular way to make MegaSquirt control spark on these is to swap in a '82-'83 Turbo distributor. We have an article on this setup here:
