Where to connect vacuum hose?

Does it matter, where in the intake, I place the connection for the MAP sensor. Today I have it on the throttle body. Will it be a more even "vacuum signal", to the MAP, sensor if I put the connection "closer to the engine".

I will move my connection to the center of my plenumchamer, and see if the signal gets any better!

I am using slide plate throttle body and all od the air ducts are separate, will it work if i connect the hose just to one of the cylinder?the engine is Fiat 2liter 16v Twin cam.
