mustang PNP injector issue

Post by boostdcoupe »

ive got the packaged PNP squirt for my 347 vortech'd fox mustang, and im having a small issue. ive had the car tuned and it runs great, except it has a small studder thruout the RPM range, as i was checking the valve springs i noticed #2 cylinder spark plug was completely dry and looks like it just came out of the package (new), didnt even smell like fuel! at first i suspected a bad injector so i swaped locations of the injectors on #1 and #2 cylinders, the problem stayed on #2 cyl, so i figured the injectors were fine. then i plugged the plug in for #2 injector on #1 injector and vice versa... the problem moved to #1 cyl. checked the plug end wth a noid light and found it pulsating like it should... :?:

my question is... can i tap into the harness at another injector that is on the same cycle and jump over to #2 injector, or will that effect the injector im tapping onto (voltage/pulse width, ect)?

Splicing the harness like you describe shouldn't be a problem.
