Is it possible to use it instead of the megaview? If so how is it connected and programmed?

its kinda like this but doesnt have a board to it just a ribbon connector. I can not find it on the web store.

That is just a alphanumeric display. You have to send specific characters to the display in order for it to work right. You would have to reprogram a MS controller to talk to the device.

Looks like you might be able to use it on a MegaView but would need to reprogram the CPU for it.
