Settings for dual o2 sensors.

Post by ka24deroadster »

I am running a MSii on my 1996 chevy LT1 (350 V8). I have 2 Innovate LC-1 wideband O2 sensors, one for the left and one for right side of the motor. I am using TunerStudio for tunning. What is the proper Tunner studio settings for dual 02 sensors. If I use a single VE table how does the Automatic Mixture Control(AMC) calculate the adjustments needed? Does it just average the two 02 readings? Is it better to run dual VE tables? If i run dual VE table, how do i match up the 02 sensors to the matching VE table? How do I pair up the 02 sensors with the matching bank of fuel injectors?

ka24r,

I had a quick look at the code, and I believe that dual EGO is used 'per bank' if dual tables are enabled. If dual tables are not enabled, it looks to me like EGOcorr2 is still applied to bank2 (and EGOcorr1 to bank1) - they just take the VE from the single table (but EGO2 has its own AFR table).

Bank1 is all the injectors connected to INJ1, which are any connected to DB37 pins 32 & 33.

Bank2 is all the injectors connected to INJ2, which are any connected to DB37 pins 34 & 35.
