Minimum volts

Post by trakkies »

What's the minimum battery volts a MS 2 V3 will work at? Would a log reading of 8.2v when cranking stop the VR input working reliably?

That's lower than I'd like to see, but usually the regulator won't shut down until around 7.5 volts. But a voltage drop like that may keep the engine from cranking fast enough to generate a good VR signal.
