questions regarding MTX install using E85

Post by ecorl »

Just finished installing an Innovate MTX sensor and now need advice on programming with my MSII. I changed the fuel settings in the O2 programmer/controller to E85 and I calibrated the O2 per the innovate instructions. Now to change the O2 in the MSII I have several questions:

1. I know I go to the calibrate AFR under the "tools" tab. The default Innovate selections do not unclude an MTX-L. Which one should I use? Or should I select a custom linear wideband?
2. The Innovate manual says to use the following settings: "0V = 7.35 AFR and 5V =22.39 AFR." However, the default settings that come up in the Innovate programmer software are different. Which ones should I use?
3. Because I am using E85, should I use the lamba calibrations when I format the O2 controller? What about the MSII calibtration?
4. When i am done, i just hit the "write to controller" ?

For E85, use a custom calibration.

Matt,

No worries. After talking with Peter, we felt it would be easier to just use the standard gasoline calibration numbers in the LM programmer and the LC1 defaults in the MS. O2 readings are currently showing about 10.0-10.3.
