Noise suppression

Post by Ali »

Hello folks, iv been looking for capacitors for my coil packs with not much luck the diagrams say something in the region of 25uf but all the ones I'm finding are 2.0 or 2.2 and I was wondering If it was as simple as losing the "." And the 2.2uf ones I got will do the job fine?

The other thing I was looking at was getting a bunch of these ferrite lumps that are so cheep to put on my injector wires? Will that achieve anything or are they only for filtering out really high fequencys ?

Cheers

Another good option for a capacitor on the coil wire would be to use an old fashioned points condenser.

I've seen benefits from ferrites on USB wires but not much else.
