help needed with megasquirt

Post by terrcami »

hi

i just finish assembling my megasquirt v3 which i am going to use for my mondeo 1.8l zetec, now i want to begin doing the loom, do i need to wire it all from the begining or just change the plug and solder the wires with it? is it hard to map the engine and do someone help me to get an engine map ready?

thanks

A couple of options.

Wire in a stand alone system will take longer but you will get the circuits you want. If you make up schematics of your work then it will be a lot easier to troubleshoot.

Another option is to use the factory wiring, but you will need the original schematics. You might need to reconfigure some of the wiring to suit your needs.
