Which MS should I order for student use?

Post by Larry Engelbrecht »

I'd like to be able to have students populate fuel and spark tables, but somehow have them easily removeable and loadable, such as between classes. I'd also like to somehow make copying/cheating useless by maybe altering fuel pressure and base timing to make them specific to each team. Maybe issue them thumbdrives or 3.5" discs that I disburse and collect each class. Is this doable?

Thank you.

Larry,

Yes, this is completely doable. The VE and spark table can be exported/imported as part of a MSQ file (all the settings), or the tables alone can be individually exported/imported as VEX files. There is more on this here: http://www.megamanual.com/mt28.htm#fs and here: http://www.megamanual.com/mt28.htm#a1fe

Your plan to alter the fuel pressure and base timing should work well.
