O2 sensor

Post by Hilborn62 »

Where is the best place in the wiring to put a switch to shut off or disconnect the oxygen sensor when tuning?
I am using a wideband sensor with a MS1 ECU.

You don't want to use a switch. You can disable O2 control in MT/ TS. There are options for NB, WB and None. You can also disable it under specific conditions such as when cold, above a certain MAP or below a certain rpm. If you were to put in a switch the ECU might continue to read garbage and screw up the controls.
