Will something like this work?

Post by CoyoteJack »

I have been reading and reading for the last few weeks. My engine is going to be a Dodge 340 with a roots 6-71 supercharger, about 650 HP. I will be running 91 octane pump gas. The mechanical part of the engine is well taken care of to handle boost. I would like to know if the following will work.
Ms-II with V3.0
Enderle Bugcatcher hat
58 lb nozzles mounted in the base of the hat or on spacer plate below hat
fuel distribution mounted at rear of hat
MSD 6AL ignition with Blaster 2 coil and MSD billitt dizzy, no vaccumn advance
TPS mounted on butterflies
other sensors mounted in appropriate spots
suitable electric fuel pump and regulator
boost would be in the 8 to 10 lb range
appropriate gauges

My goal is to have fuel management and timing control for boost

I don't know if I am missing anything here but sing out if I am. If this setup would not work, please tell me why.

This one looks pretty straightforward - MS2 can read up to 21 psi of boost, and that ignition setup presents no special challenge. Sounds like a cool project.

Thanks Matt,

I'm a real noob to EFI and some of the reading I have done is greek to me right now, but I'll learn.
