4 cylinder injector wiring??

Post by substock »

looking at the wiring diagram, it appears that bank 1 controls injector 1&2 while bank 2 controls injectors 3&4.

i was looking at another wiring diagram for another ecu that i have. for the 2 injector driver diagram, it has bank 1 controlling injectors 1&4 and bank 2 controlling injectors 2&3:

There isn't a correct way, either way will work. The injections are not timed to the engine cycles so the pairing doesn't matter (unless you happen to be concerned about things like fuel rail pressure drops on V engines, etc.).

Lance.
thank you Lance. i have it wired up per the ms diagram, but was unsure after i saw the other diagram i have for another ecu

Substock on my 4 cylinder Nissan CA18DET I have my injector bank 1 controlling 1 and 4 and Bank injector 2 is controlling 2 and 3.

my engine firing sequence is 1,3,4,2

reason I did that sequence is because piston 1 and 4 are the same in terms of position same with 2 and 3.
