GM TPS sensor, which way is WOT, and which is Closed?

Post by beast02 »

I'm trying to make a custom mounthing for the GM TPS on my throttle body, and i'm not quite sure which way is all the way open and which way is all the way closed. I'd hate to bond my mount on and then find out that it was with the sensor in the WOT position when the butterfly is closed!

Should I just assume that looking at the top of it (the black plastic) that closed is in the (righty tighty) right position?

HOpe you can help,

thanks

I'm not shure about your TPS, but mine can go 2 ways.

You have to mount it so it can follow the 45 degrees of the butterfly, and by exchanging the 2 wires (i think signal and ground, not shure) you can change the "direction"
