GM MAP sensors types

Post by Niels »

I have a question about the GM MAP sensors.

My CHevy Beretta has a MAP sensor and is not listed in the megatune list I think.
When I set the sensor in the ini file and in MT on 115, then it reads about 115 kPa.

When i add vacuum on the sensor it drops values till very low.

How do I get info about my sensor. It have 2 of them now and both same number on top : 466 and the GM logo.
Found on Eric's site the 3 bar version and this is reading all wrong ( above 300 kPa )
Think I have a 1 bar version or some like because the value shows up at 115 kPa at sealevel ( should be about 100 kPa now here )

Can someone provide me info or a lookuptable ?

Are you wiring your map sensor to the MS board?

Yes, removed the 4250 sensor and wired the GM on onto the board testing.

Just measured the output and it gives about 4,96 volt at 100 kPa.
Think it is a 1 bar absolute type.
Also reviewed the lookuptables, but can't get how it is build exactly.

Is there some info about the tables somewhere ?

Compared the 115 , 250 ,300 and 400 to eachother, but dont see a real line in it.
