Good book to help understand the principles of tuning?

Post by kpm197 »

hi, can anyone recommend a book for help understanding the principles of tuning. i have a general idea but probably not enough to dive in with tuning an ecu. i've read the manual and most of it was ok but a nice big reading book sounds like a good idea. a couple of peeps have mentioned "How To Tune And Modify Engine Management Systems" by Jeff Hartman- is this a good one? thanks, kristian

i got Jeff Hartman's book, and thought it has been a very good complement to my MS project. i actually saw that it is also at our city library, so maybe you can check it out that way, and others.
