Xtau help in higher rpm.
The issues I'm getting; there is some mean PW flucuation once the boost contoller starts to regulate boost. On the mechanical gauge it seems pretty steady, but on the log, there is some tiny fluctuations of about 3-7pka. This is making the mapDOT flip out and the x-tau kick in, The x-tau is swicthing from 105% to 95% (=/- a couple % each pime).
I have the MapDot trending set to 150pk and +10pka added to the sample. These number are working great from me in the lower rpm where they are really needed, but I have a feeling that its the cause of my PW changing soo much since the mapdot recordings in the MLV are boucinge between +250 and -250 pka/sec. If I turn off x-tau, the problem goes away, but I get no AE in the lower end when driving.
I would post a DL, but that computer isn't hopked up to the network at work.

Re: Xtau help in higher rpm.
I turned the lag factor on the map from 95 to 75 and that got rid of some of the mapdot fluctuations.
I turned the accel and decel "X" % down to 5% and shortened the tau times down from the 300ms to the 100 ms. I als extrended the last rpm point in the x-tau tables out the 9K, it was at 6K before...I thought I had it set to 8K, but I was appearently wrong.
I also turned the mapdot trending up to 255pka/sec since it seems I only really need it for sharp throttle stabs. WHere I need the extra fuel, I was logging over 800 to 1000+kPa/sec, so 255 will be just fine. I also set the feild under the mapdot trending up a little to 20 and it seemed too rich, so I pulled it down to 15 (was at 10 originally).
I also rest the VE table by turning x-tau off on the way home and running a log.I then let MVL tweak VE map back. It seems to run well other then sharp stabs of the throttle.
I'll see how she does tomorrow. The rain came down on my parade, so no more 'playing' today
