Long Injectors
I'm in the process of thinking how to megasquirt my friends TR6 Pi. What i plan to do is try to keep everything as original as possible and make a relatively easy installation. So keeping the original Pi inlet manifold rather than fabricate my own.
What i am after at the moment are some long injectors which would be a fairly similar size to those originally used. The main shaft of the injector is about 50mm in length, not overall length, very similar to the design of diesel injectors. I have found these

which are kind of the thing i was looking for, but as i'm trying to do this on a budget (as ever) so does anyone know of any OE ones i can rob from the local scrapyard or alike?? or shoot me down for being brilliantly stupid would electrical controlled diesel injectors work or was that a really bad stab in the dark???
I know i will have to look into flow rates and the specs but just need some help to start off with really.
