new guy with first project

Post by georgebrookins »

Hi everyone,
I just started my first megasquirt project, so far I have assembled the ms-1 i got from DIYAutoTune.com. i am going to install it on a 13hp Honda air-cooled engine.
for inputs i am going to use:
coolant temp- gm coolant temp sensor atached to fins on the side of the cylinder
intake temp- gm intake temp sensor in intake tract
rpm-inductive pickup on sparkplug wire
map-megasquirt map sensor
o2- gm 3 wire o2 sensor

what do you guys think? this is my first project like this, thats why im installing it on a small engine. once i am happy with the results i will install a ls 5.3 in my truck and run it off of a ms-3
